Destinations, recent and future

Chef Bob Arno was asked to ditch his toque when he was rebooked by Starlight International. Last February, at its convention in Orlando, Starlight duped its 10,000 attendees by introducing Arno as the event's chef. Last month, Arno mounted the stage as himself for 6,000 attendees in Louisville and then another 4,000 in Las Vegas. I-mag makes it work.
Who was skulking through the halls of the U.S. Secret Service office last month? The invited guest made as many rip-offs as introductions during his afternoon visit to the agency.
Colombia was The Swedish Heister's destination in October, a preliminary fact-finding expedition for Arno's search for the infamous or mythical School of the Seven Bells, college for aspiring pickpockets.
As if that weren't dangerous enough for Bob Arno and Bambi -- in March they're off to two more of the world's riskiest territories. Research trips to South Africa and Nigeria will be combined with segments on the ultraluxe world cruises of the Crystal Symphony and the legendary QE2. Arno will present his lecture, The Serious Side of Stealing, on both ships, and hunt the perpetrators before and after sailing.
